Single Print Design
1. Minimalistic Print
Commission me for individual print designs. Pricing depends on the level of detail that goes into the design, each category is listed below. See examples on the right for a rough estimate. For an accurate quote please get in contact.
A simple design that is subtle but effective. From simple motifs or stripes or polka dots. These can go along side plain fabrics or other prints in a collection, as well as stand alone if you want to achieve a minimal look.
2. Mid Range Print
Mid range prints fall between Minimalist and Hero prints when it comes to detail. They can be stand alone prints or compliment other prints and non-printed designs and fabrics.
3. Hero Print
The Hero print is usually the foundation of your collection often paired with simpler designs. It can also be a stand alone print. Hero prints include detailed motifs and illustrations.

What happens after I’ve filled out the enquiry form?I will ask you some questions about your brand and what sort of design you have in mind. I will ask you for some reference images to help me gain a better understanding of the style you wish to achieve.

Do you work with brands globally?Absolutely, It doesn’t matter where in the world you are.

How do I find out pricing?If you’re interested in commissioning me for one of my services, then fill out the enquiry form or email me and I’ll send you my price list for that service.

How does payment work?If you decide to work with me and we’ve discussed the project, then I will send over the contract. I request a 25% non-refundable deposit before I start the project. Once it’s complete and you’re happy with the artwork, then I require the rest of the payment.

How soon can we start and how long will a project take?My availability depends on how many projects I am working on at that time. The time frame depends on how big the project is and my availability. Usually Simple prints and illustrations can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks and more complicated designs including detailed illustrations and hero prints can take around 3 to 4 weeks to complete. Collection packages can take up to 7 weeks. We will set a deadline prior to the project.

Do I need to know which printing manufacturer I’ll be using before I commission a print?I can still work on a print design without you knowing which manufactures you’ll be using. However it is preferred that you know, as I am able to set the artwork up in the correct format.

Do you do prints designs for screen printing and digital?My preferred method is digital printing. I work with a lot of environmentally conscious brands who opt for digital printing, rather than traditional methods like screen or rotary printing. With digital print there are less use of chemicals and water and a much more efficient set up. Digital printing is also cheaper when producing smaller quantities.

Will the work be exclusive to my brand?Yes! Any commission work I create will be exclusive to your brand.

CREATIVE PROCESS
1. Discussion
Once you’ve got in touch by enquiring about my services we’ll discuss your brand and what makes it unique. I’ll ask you to send me some image references of the style print you would like. We can discuss ideas and go over a few details. If we decide we’re a good match, then I will send over the design contract and details as well as an invoice for a 25% non-refundable deposit.


2. Research begins
If you’ve opted for the collection package we’ll discuss in more detail the direction you would like to go, we’ll also discuss manufacturer specifications. I’ll create a mood board for your design brief.
3. Creative process
Now that we’re clear on the art direction, I’ll begin to hand draw your custom illustrations and motifs for the print. I’ll send you images of the working progress to make sure you’re happy. If so I will continue and provide you with further updates if required.
4. Print layout
Depending on whether you’ve opted for placement or repeat print. I’ll play about with the layout and send you image updates to see if you’re happy to proceed.
5. Final work
If you’re happy with the design, I’ll create a mock-up so we can decide on the scale. I’ll set up the artwork as either a tile (ready for repeat) or as a placement print depending on the manufacturer's requirements. I’ll also send over the Pantone colours used in the design.
6. Delivery
I’ll send you a low res version of the design to double-check you’re happy. Once you have confirmed I will require the final payment before sending you the high res artwork via we transfer.
